Mongolia Expedition

Mongolia

About the trip

Known as the “Land of the Eternal Blue Sky” and the “Land of the Horse,” Mongolia is a country of extraordinary landscapes and enduring traditions. Nestled between Russia and China, it is one of the world’s most sparsely populated nations — where vast steppes, rugged mountains, and timeless nomadic culture define daily life.

In winter, Mongolia transforms into a land of ice and silence — a frozen wilderness of pristine beauty. From November to March, snow blankets the steppes, rivers turn to glass, and herders tend their flocks in temperatures that can dip below –40°C. Yet amid the chill, Mongolia glows with warmth — from cozy, heated gers and lively winter markets to the spirit of the people who thrive in harmony with the land.

Experience dog sledding, horseback riding, and encounters with eagle hunters set against dramatic snow-covered mountains. This journey through Frozen Mongolia offers a rare chance to witness nature’s stillness, nomadic resilience, and the serene beauty of the Mongolian winter.
