Arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek, Namibia’s capital. Meet our representative and collect your fully equipped 4×4 expedition vehicle at the rental office. Receive your Welcome Kits and complete pre-expedition formalities. Settle into a cozy African lodge to relax, recover from jet lag, and get familiar with your vehicle. The day ends with a welcome dinner and trip briefing.

Today we leave Kgalagadi and drive to Ghanzi, Botswana’s cattle farming hub known for high-quality free-range beef and San Tribal arts. Ghanzi supplies 75% of Botswana’s beef exports and is famous for authentic San crafts like ostrich eggshell jewelry and leather goods.

Thirty-five km north of Ghanzi is D’Kar, home to Bushman families. Visit their traditional art center and learn about their ancient culture. Today is the start of yet another adventure of epic proportions, challenging 4x& terrain, wild life encounters at every turn and no fuel or groceries.
Our next two nights would be in the unfenced wilderness of the Okavango Delta (A UNESCO World Heritage Site).
Challenging drives through marshes, water crossings with crocs and hippos for company and rickety log bridges will transport you into the world of National Geographical or discovery Channel, with you at the helm.

Monday & Tuesday, 30 June 202 and 01 July 2025 - Moremi Game Reserve to Khwai & Khwai Exploration

Khwai Village, home to about 400 Babukahwe (river Bushmen) for 22,000 years, lies between Moremi Game Reserve and Chobe National Park.
The 2,000 sq km Khwai Conservation Area, managed by the local community, shifted from hunting to conservation and ecotourism.
With lagoons, flooded pans, grasslands, and forests, it’s rich in wildlife, offering great sightings of African Wild Dogs, 450+ bird species, and the Big 5.

After a leisurely breakfast at the luxury wilderness lodge, we will check out and drive to the car rental company to return the cars.
You will have your drop to the Hosea Kutako airport, Windhoek waiting for you for your final journey home As we board our flight, we take with us cherished memories, leaving behind only tyre tracks and the remnants of our bonfires.
